Canada

This blog is about my trip to Canada from February till the end of July. The reason I have this blog is that my family/ friends and teachers can read what I have been up to.
I'll write about my preperations, flight, what I have learned at the internship company as well as any side trips.

Day 27: Flight back home

Well, I left at 10:15 in the morning. I packed the last few things before that, also held Eden Dawn and said goodbye to Evelien and Patrick Ryan. Then Peter drove me to the airport.
Itwas a 2 hour drive and the view wasn't fantastic because of the fog sadly, so I couldn't film much, but I had a good last drive; my cousin and I talked a lot.

When I arrived in Calgary I could go to check in immediately; I was quite early so there wasn't any row. It happened so fast, within 5 minutes I dropped off my suitcase and could go to my gate.
Peter walked me to the luggage check and we said goodbye.
I was on my own again and I headed towards my gate but first I had to take out my laptop out of my bag and put everything on a tray to scan. It took a while as I had a lot of stuff, but as usual everything was okay. I stopped at the foodcourt and had a teen burger at A&W. After that I stopped at the Tim Hortons to get my last French Vanilla, but as I was quite full I didn't even finish it.

As I had to wait for another two hours I decided to grab my laptop. My dad was online so I quickly   talked to my parents, but as my laptop battery died it wasn't very long.
The airplane was late so there was another delay of 20 minutes, but once I stepped in things went fast.

The flight was boring. I did watch a movie at the start: Ted.. but it didn't impress me much. I tried to sleep after the meal I had (pasta) but as usual that wasn't a success. I couldn't sleep... at all which frustrated me immensly. The women next to me slept the whole flight! Grr..
With 3 hours to go there was turbulence which scared me as I never experienced it like this before. I was afraid we would crash; the sound was also creepy around the airplane and the lights were out o.o

Luckily all went well (or else I wouldn't type this =P) and i'm home now. It was a long drive back home as I was tired, but being home was so quickly normal again. No matter how long you are away from home the moment you walk in it feels as if you didn't have the long flight or that you haven't been away for so long.

In a few weeks I'll go again! But this time four times as long as now.
